Lookie! Lookie! Come to the show! Del Ray Artisans invites you to the main attraction, FUN-derful, a curated exhibit of witty, punny, colorful, silly, humorous and just (LOL) FUN art by local area artists. It is guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
But, wait! There’s more! We are featuring a sideshow mini FUN-raiser called: “Can You Spare A Square?” Artists are adopting small square matboards and donating completed works of art to support Del Ray Artisans. These small creations will be available to take home at the time of purchase (“cash and carry”), and the most “spectacular squares” will be framed and raffled at the close of the exhibit.
The main attraction exhibit FUN-derful and the mini-FUN-raiser sideshow “Can You Spare a Square?” are at Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. Join us for a “Fun-derful” time at the opening reception on Friday, August 5, 7-9pm.
Regular gallery hours are: Thursday 12-6pm, First Thursday, 12-9pm, Friday 12-9pm, Saturday 12-9pm, and Sunday 12-6pm. The gallery is free, open to the public and handicap accessible.
