Maybe your piece is missing a clasp or a hook or needs to be longer or shorter. If so\, mark September 18 between 6:30-8:30pm on your calendar and RSVP. \nHere’s how it works: \n\nRegister for a half-hour appointment.\nBring in 1-3 jewelry items that need fixing. Attending jewelers work in metal so they can fix a gold or sterling silver piece\, but the replacement clasp or loop will not be in the same metal.\nYou will be paired with one of our on-site jewelry artists who will quickly assess what your item needs and repair it. If the piece cannot be repaired on Fix-It Nite\, the artist will discuss repair options with you. You can then choose to commission them to fix your piece for delivery at a later date.\nPlease tip your jewelry repair artist for fixing your item so you can wear it again!  20% of these donations go to Del Ray Artisans.\nEnjoy wearing your jewelry again!\n\nRegistration: This event is free to the public but you must register for a half-hour appointment to help maintain an even flow of people throughout the evening. \nTip/Donation: While this event is free to you\, please plan on tipping the artist who fixes your jewelry. Do you rack your brain to remember how you priced it last time? Have you submitted an art piece to a show\, only to remember later that it is currently hanging elsewhere? Then this workshop is for you! \nDesigned for those who know the basics of using Excel\, this workshop will teach you how to build your art inventory ‘system’ using an Excel file and a file folder holding your art photos. The goal is to create a system for keeping track of each art piece – size\, medium\, price\, and other characteristics – as well as where each art piece currently is\, where you’ve shown it before\, and any other pertinent information about your artwork. \nIn this class\, you will receive the instructor’s art inventory file ‘template\,’ which you will then edit to your specific needs with help from the instructor.
