The 2025 Board will begin its one-year term on January 1\, 2025.\n\n\nVote at the Meeting or by Proxy\nAt the Annual Meeting\, each member in Good Standing (renew your membership if it has expired) is entitled to one vote in person or by proxy on any matter brought before the membership at any meeting at which quorum has been established. Actions shall pass if they carry a simple majority of the votes cast. (Review the bylaws.) \nA member in Good Standing may appoint a proxy to vote for them by filling out the Appointment of Proxy Form. The proxy shall expire at the end of the 2024 Annual Meeting (October 20\, 2024). Proxy forms shall not count towards establishing a quorum. Proxy forms must be received before 6pm on Saturday\, October 19\, 2024. Proxy forms were emailed to the membership. DESCRIPTION:Join us in-person or via Zoom (a hybrid meeting) for a FREE program of interest for DRA members. We’ll start with refreshments and a brief business meeting\, then dive into Instagram for Artists! \nDel Ray Artisans’ Technology Director Dina Wise will walk you through Instagram\, including building posts\, stories\, reels\, and more. She’ll discuss the importance of captions\, hashtags and @tags; setting up collaborations; and how to photograph and edit art to create the perfect post. \nHomework before the meeting: if you haven’t already\, try signing up for Instagram and come with questions! Dina may not be able to help remote viewers with troubleshooting specific to their account\, but generic questions are welcome. This will be your opportunity to hear information about all the shows planned for 2024. Dale Spivey\, President\, will present a special message about the organization and introduce the newly elected 2024 Board of Directors. \n\nVoting for the Slate or Individual Candidates\n“Members in Good Standing” (current membership) are eligible to vote—so please renew your membership if you haven’t already.
