DESCRIPTION:Join fellow Del Ray Artisans members for the Member Meeting & Art Supplies Swap on Sunday\, February 22 starting at 6pm. \nSave the date for the first member meeting of 2026. Bring the supplies you no longer need and be ready to find a treasure in other’s discards! \nIf you are bringing boxes of supplies\, please limit to no more than three boxes. To help things run smoothly\, drop off your treasures at the start of the art supply swap; we won’t be able to accept any treasures after 6:15pm. \nWe’ll begin with a short meeting\, and then select “new to you” art supplies. The 2026 Board will begin its one-year term on January 1\, 2026. \n\n\nVote at the Meeting or by Proxy\nAt the Annual Meeting\, each member in Good Standing (renew your membership if it has expired) is entitled to one vote in person or by proxy on any matter brought before the membership at any meeting at which quorum has been established. Actions shall pass if they carry a simple majority of the votes cast. (Review the bylaws.) \nA member in Good Standing may appoint a proxy to vote for them by filling out the Appointment of Proxy Form. The proxy shall expire at the end of the 2025 Annual Meeting (October 26\, 2025). Proxy forms shall not count towards establishing a quorum. Proxy forms must be received before 6pm on Saturday\, October 25\, 2025. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, May 18 starting at 4pm\, join your fellow Del Ray Artisans members for the spring member meeting and this FREE member benefit program to find out how you can prepare to show your work successfully at Del Ray Artisans and beyond. \nMany art galleries will refuse to accept artwork that is poorly wired\, incorrectly framed\, or otherwise not finished professionally. Why risk losing your entry fee for something that is so easily within your control? Come to this program to learn tips and tricks for successful finishing! In addition\, you’ll learn how to prep files ahead of time\, including creating and maintaining your artist bio\, building an inventory database of all your pieces\, and keeping a photo library. When you have everything properly set up\, you can respond to calls for entry whenever they pop up\, even if the deadline is tomorrow (or today)! \nThe event will begin with a brief meeting and include light refreshments.
