Thinking in 3D Workshop

Class size: 4-10 participants
(Register by July 3)
Learn basic sculpting techniques carving in soapstone or plaster and vermiculite. You will sketch an idea to picture what it will look like; then sculpt, sand and finish the artwork. You will learn basic sculpting techniques. You’ll use tools such as knives, rasps and saws; then finish and polish your work. Soapstone finishes beautifully and plaster and vermiculite has a wonderful rugged look! This is a great way to start thinking in three dimensions. The supply fee will be based on your choice of material:
- $15 for Plaster or Vermiculite
- $35 for Soapstone
Wear clothing that can get messy!
