Design your own robot during our drop-in activity in the Kids Art Corner at Art on the Avenue. The Kids Art Corner is located outdoors in the Mount Vernon Recreation Center fields. Come anytime between 11am-4pm to draw, paint, collage, or sculpt your own robot.
The hands-on activity is for participants ages 6 years old or greater. Family members are welcome. Please contact the Youth Programs Director at youth@delrayartisans.org with any questions.
STEAM-tastic @ DRA – Come join us at Del Ray Artisans for interactive classes about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM), taught by professionals from each field! Geared toward kids and teens, each lesson has a short talk or demonstration and a hands-on craft project. Del Ray Artisans’ STEAM-tastic workshops are made possible with support from the City of Alexandria through the FY2025 Annual Arts Program Grant.
