STEAM-tastic: Design a Robot at Art on the Avenue (Ages 6+)

Design your own robot during our drop-in activity in the Kids Art Corner at Art on the Avenue. The Kids Art Corner is located outdoors in the Mount Vernon Recreation Center fields. Come anytime between 11am-4pm to make your own robot. Children may create their robot on paper at our sticker station or sculpt their robot using Squishy circuits to explore the conductivity of Play-Doh using batteries and LED lights (while supplies last).

The hands-on activity is for participants ages 6 years old or greater. Family members are welcome. Please contact the Youth Programs Director at youth@delrayartisans.org with any questions.

STEAM-tastic @ DRA – Come join us at Del Ray Artisans for interactive classes about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM), taught by professionals from each field! Geared toward kids and teens, each lesson has a short talk or demonstration and a hands-on craft project.
