STEAM-tastic: Paleolithic Archaeology – Cave Painting (Ages 10-15)

Join Dr. Erica Hughes as she explains some of the techniques used to locate and excavate some of the oldest hominid sites! Ask questions of a real field archaeologist about paleolithic cave art and then try it yourself! Wear clothing that can get dirty.
The hands-on activity is for participants’ ages 10-15. Family members are welcome to attend, listen, and learn. Please contact the Youth Programs Director at youth@delrayartisans.org with any questions.
STEAM-tastic @ DRA – Come join us at Del Ray Artisans for FREE, interactive classes about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM), taught by professionals from each field! Geared toward kids and teens, each lesson has a short talk or demonstration and a hands-on craft project.
