Sketching the Symphony

Join Alexandria Symphony Orchestra (ASO) and Del Ray Artisans (DRA) for our collaborative Sketching the Symphony program!

Bring your sketchbook and pencils and draw the musicians or interpret the music visually. You are welcome to bring lap board, but no easels.

We will meet in the lobby at 7pm and be seated in the 2nd floor balcony. We’ll draw during the first half of the concert and share drawings during intermission. Feel free to enjoy the rest of the concert however you like.

The Saturday, February 10th concert, Mozart Requiem & Copland – Do Not Go Gentle at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center, is our inaugural gathering.
