Opening Reception: Friday, April 5 from 7–9pm
In the spirit of Celebrate Diversity Month, this art exhibit highlights the beauty and richness of diversity through artists’ interpretations of the concept Same But Different. This Del Ray Artisans members showcase explores notions of identity, distinctions and similarities in our natural and manmade world. Through a variety of mediums, styles, and perspectives, the Same But Different exhibit invites the viewers to look at the interconnectedness of humanity by examining the uniqueness of things that may appear to be the same.
Join us for the opening reception on Friday, April 5 between 7-9pm to meet curators Pinar Artuk-Boegel and Barbara Cooper and the artists. Mark your calendar now or set a reminder through Eventbrite.

The Same But Different exhibit runs April 5–27, 2024 at Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. Gallery hours are Thursday 12-6pm, Friday 12-9pm, Saturday 12-6pm, and Sunday 12-6pm (closed on April 28).
The gallery is free, open to the public, and accessible. Del Ray Artisans, a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote art for the benefit of artists and the community.
