Mini Mosaic Pendant Workshop

Instructor: Shona D’Cruz (pronounced “shawna”)
Dates: Saturday, June 11 from 6:30–8:30pm
Cost: $65 for Del Ray Artisans members and $80 for non-members, plus a $20 supply fee
Class size: 6-14 (16 years minimum age)

Create a one-of-a-kind mini mosaic pendant out of beautiful millefiori, tiny ceramic tiles, glass tiles, natural stones and other fun materials. During this 2-hour class, the instructor will walk you through the steps of creating a design, along with considerations for color and placement of your chosen tesserae. If you wish, you may bring small pieces of broken jewelry to add to your piece. Please note the following:

• Please do not bring any glass or ceramic cutting tools to this workshop.
• Please wear closed-toed shoes.
• This is not messy work (no glass cutting), but the adhesive does not come off clothing. Please dress accordingly and bring an apron if you wish.
• We will be working with various sizes of tesserae, so please make sure you have your readers / magnifiers, and a clip on lamp if you feel you need extra lighting. Most people can manage without the latter.

Face masks are recommended inside the gallery.
