We were never meant to navigate the seasons of life alone.
Join Dimple Dhabalia, writer, author, and founder of love in action empathy cards for a two-hour, in-person community gathering — a small, intentional space to slow down, drop in, and write to the people in our lives.
Ritual is how humans have always marked time. The crossing of a threshold. The arrival of grief, or joy, or wonder, or rest.
In a world where loneliness has become an epidemic and speed has been prioritized over intimacy, we don’t need more efficiency in how we care for each other. We need more ritual. Writing to someone by hand is a ritual of return. Sealing an envelope is a ritual of commitment. Sending a card when there is no occasion except the memory of someone’s loss, or a desire to honor their joy.
Each session opens with a brief grounding practice. We write together, and those who wish to share are invited to—though sharing is always optional. This is not a writing workshop. It is a guided space for presence, reflection, and connection. Bring your own cards or purchase a set at the gathering. You don’t need to be a writer. You don’t need to prepare. You will never be required to share.
All are welcome.
