ONLINE: Introduction to Animation (8-Week Course)

Learn the basics of animation with former Adult Swim Animation Lead Sean MacQuinor! If you have Adobe Creative Suite, you have Adobe Animate. As one of the animation industry’s chief tools, it is easy to use and learn the basics of professional animation. Whether you’re trying to start in the field of animation or learn the principles of motion that give character to life itself, artists and creators all benefit from developing an aptitude for recognizing those quirks of personality or nature that turn the thousand words a picture tells into a book set across the fourth dimension.
Supplies: Students will need to have a drawing tablet interface, and Adobe Creative Cloud, or at least Adobe Animate. Creative Cloud with all apps is $53/month or $600/year for adults (Adobe Animate alone is $21/month). The student price for all apps is $240 prepaid.
This workshop will be online through the Zoom platform. Registered participants will be sent the connection information via email two days before the workshop and again one hour before the workshop.
