First Thursday was a former program of the Del Ray Business Association. In 2026, Del Ray Citizens Association has assumed responsibility for organizing and presenting this beloved neighborhood tradition. The 2026 First Thursday dates and themes are:

• May 7 — It’s A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood sponsored by Alexandria Hyundai
• June 4 — Field Day sponsored by the Del Ray Farmers Market
• July 2 — America 250 sponsored by The Jen Walker Team
