The Fibonacci sequence of numbers can be determined using simple math. The sequence can be seen in nature frequently and can be used to draw a series of squares that can be used to draw a Fibonacci spiral (also known as the golden ratio).

The program will cover an example of the relationship between math and nature. Learn how to calculate the Fibonacci sequence and draw the squares that relate to it on grid paper with a ruler. The Fibonacci Spiral can then be drawn in the squares.

All supplies are included in the supply fee. This workshop is open to adults as well as children 10 years old or older. Children ages 10-14 years old must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.
