Experiencing Color: Perspectives from Del Ray Artisans Art Exhibit at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center
May 3 – September 21, 2025
Del Ray Artisans through the City of Alexandria’s Office of the Arts in partnership with the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center presents Experiencing Color: Perspectives from Del Ray Artisans. The exhibit features the work of seven (7) member artists in glass cases in the lobby of the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center (5000 Seminary Rd, Alexandria, VA 22311) from May 3, 2025 through September 21, 2025.
Come see the work of Stephanie Darlene Greenwald (digital drawing), Lesley Hall-Runner (acrylic, mixed media), Morgan Parr (mixed media), Karen Schmitz (collage, mixed media), Anastasia Travieso-Diaz (abstract painting), Joyce Wagner (mosaics), and Rod Whyte (digital painting), as they explore and reveal how they are influenced by color.
All artwork is available for purchase, but must remain on display through the exhibit. Following the exhibit, purchased artwork may be picked up at Del Ray Artisans gallery (2704 Mt Vernon Ave, Alexandria VA) by appointment.
Experiencing Color: Perspectives from Del Ray Artisans is organized through Del Ray Artisans’ Gallery Without Walls program in partnership with the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center through the City of Alexandria’s Office of the Arts. Del Ray Artisans, a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote art for the benefit of artists and the community.
