Come to our book club meeting on Saturday, June 18 from 10am to noon at the gallery. The book for this meeting is “The Duchamp Dictionary” by Thomas Girst.
Marcel Duchamp was one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. His life and work were filled with innovative and controversial ideas and approaches to creating art. This book published in 2014 reads like a dictionary, organized by the letters of the alphabet. Each chapter is filled with this master artist’s genius.
When we meet on June 18th we will have an opportunity to each share what amused, baffled, or informed us as we read. If you have questions, please contact our book club leader Rusty Lynn at rustylynn@earthlink.net.
The Creative Book Club meets on select Saturday mornings to discuss readings by a variety of authors. The club is free and open to all who are interested in keeping their creative muse flowing and connecting with other creative people. Future book selections will be announced on this website and in the Weekly eNews email in advance.
