Cancelled: Hand Carving Rubber Stamps

Learn the basics of printmaking and how to use carving tools and bench hooks to create hand-carved stamps out of rubber erasers and linoleum blocks, which can be used for stamping on fabric and paper. Students will use a rubber brayer to apply ink to the surface of these reusable stamps. Participants will leave with hand carved stamps from their own designs for use in future artwork, as well as reusable tools.
