Learn how to make fine art original relief block prints. This 3-hour class will teach the basics to get you started making relief block prints. This involves carving a design into a block of some material like wood or latex, inking it, and then applying paper to make the print. This workshop is designed for beginners (ages 16+) and those who want to reconnect with block printing. Please bring all the materials listed below.
The materials and supplies are all available from various ONLINE vendors, such as Blick Art Supplies (see “DRA Printmaking 2022” wish list), Amazon, or Plaza Art.
