Life Sketch with Alexandria Choral Society

Practice sketching people! The Alexandria Choral Society invites you to purchase a ticket (just $15 through this link just for artists) for the PRO CORO ALEXANDRIA’S SPRING CONCERT: To The Sea on Saturday, April 20 at Westminster Presbyterian Church (2701 Cameron Mills Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302). There are a limited number of artist seats available.
Meet at 6:30pm to choose your seat in the front row and/or set up easels in the transept. The audience will watch you as you sketch! There will be a brief intermission, and, after the second half of the concert, you will have the opportunity to display and sell (optional) your sketches to the singers and audience during the reception.
To fit with the theme of the performance, sketchers are encouraged to add nautical embellishments (mermaid tails, captain’s hats, gills) to the faces they draw. If sketchers wish to receive a printed copy of the sheet music from which the artists will be performing to sketch on top of, please contact Erica Hughes at programs@delrayartsans.org.
