Introduction to Acrylic Painting Workshop

Introduction to Acrylic Acrylics will cover the basic principles for working with acrylic paints. Topics include:
- Paint selection, pallets, brushes, mediums, painting surfaces, other tools.
- Unique Acrylic Properties
- Surface preparation
- Mixing colors
- Using mediums
- Acrylics vs Oils
Participants will perform some basic color, shade, and tint mixing. Jeff will demonstrate mixing, application techniques as well as some special tips and tricks with this medium.
About the instructor: Jeff Lodge is a Del Ray Artisans member and regularly shows at Del Ray Artisans gallery and the Torpedo Factory Gallery. His work is in private and corporate collections throughout the country.
