Learn about spatial reasoning\, artistic engineering\, and sustainable design while using recycled materials. \nAll supplies are provided\, but you’re encouraged to bring flat\, reusable materials from home to add a personal touch to your eco-friendly creation. \nThis activity combines art\, design\, and basic construction skills in a fun\, family-friendly environment. In this hands-on\, STEAM-integrated workshop\, attendees will use oil pastels and watercolors to create their own artworks inspired by Monet’s gardens at Giverny. \nParticipants will learn how color theory\, perception\, and artistic technique come together to create shimmering\, light-filled scenes. Through layering\, optical blending\, and the interaction of oil and water-based media\, attendees will experiment with the similar tools and visual effects that defined the Impressionist movement. \nPerfect for all ages and experience levels\, including children under 12.
