DESCRIPTION:This workshop has been cancelled. \nInstructor: Jonathan Ottke\nDate: Saturday\, August 22 from 10am-1pm\nClass size: 5-9 participants\n(Register by August 18) \nIn this workshop we will create art from materials found in the natural world. Great art can be made from natural materials such as twigs\, stones\, shells\, feathers\, seeds\, shells and clay – just like the art first created by humans and other creatures. \nSome objects from the man-made world such as plastics and mirrors can be used to contrast against or enhance the art and others such as thread\, string\, glue\, and screws to hold everything together. \nThere will be materials and tools such as saws\, drills\, and scissors for you to use or you can bring your own materials and tools. Examples will be on hand of things you can make. Explore the work of artists such as Agnes Denes\, Andy Goldsworthy\, Nils-Udo\, Richard Shilling\, Chris Jordan and Benjamin Von Wong for inspiration. \nPlease wear a face mask and maintain 6′ of personal space. \n.\n\nView other upcoming workshops\, information about the facility\, and policies on the Upcoming Workshops page.
