DESCRIPTION:This workshop has been canceled. \nInstructor Monique Durfuss\nInstructor: Monique Durfuss\nDate: Sunday\, June 23 from 9:30-11am\nClass size: 10-20 participants\n(Register by June 20) \nYour chakras are energy wheels that run from the base of the spine to the crown of the head-each regulates a different part of the physical and emotional self. The flow of energy in our chakras is a function of how we relate to ourselves. The gong is an effective tool in balancing the chakras. The sound waves of the gong aids in facilitating the flow of energy in our bodies. \nThis experiential workshop begins with an easy but effective breath exercise\, followed by a guided meditation to energize the chakra system. The workshop culminates in a gong sound experience to release energetic blocks\, stimulate circulation and the glandular system. \nNo experience necessary. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket\, as well as a cushion for seated meditation if needed. A limited number of chairs will be available. Gong is not recommended for women in the last trimester of pregnancy.
