DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Morgan Parr\nDate/Time: Monday\, December 8\, 4-6pm\nCost: $15 child / $30 adult; plus $5 supply fee\nClass size: 4-25 participants\n(Register in advance; walk-ins welcome\, space permitting.) \nYou don’t need to be an artist to explore neuroscience-inspired creativity! In this STEAM-based activity\, we’ll create Neurographic Art\, where art meets brain science. A neuron is a cell that transmits messages in your brain and body—and this relaxing drawing process is inspired by the organic structure of these neural pathways. \nThrough structured linework and spontaneous design\, participants explore the connection between neural activity and creative expression. This calming activity promotes emotional regulation\, cognitive flexibility\, and visual mindfulness. \nThe hands-on activity is family-friendly and suitable for ages 10 and above\, including adults! After the decorating is finished\, the instructor will guide participants on how to put the ukulele together and string the instruments.
