SUMMARY:Speed-Painting with Friends (EVENT IS FULL)
DESCRIPTION:“Circle Confab” created in stages by Eileen O’Brien\, Pamela Underhill\, and Cheryl Leibovitz\nCome to the gallery for our FREE art-making event on Sunday\, March 14 between 3-6pm to benefit Del Ray Artisans. Come for 1 hour\, 2 hours\, or all 3!  (Registration required. No drop-ins.) \nUsing small canvas boards\, individuals will take turns painting\, with each artist building on the prior artist’s work. The artwork created during this event will be displayed as part of Del Ray Artisans’ April exhibit\, Unfinished/Finished\, with proceeds supporting our non-profit arts organization. \nDepending on interest\, we may work on greeting cards as well\, helping to stock the gallery’s supply and the Sunshine Committee which sends cards to members and friends who could use a little “shine” to brighten their day. Similar to Del Ray Artisans’ famous card-making parties\, donations to cover the cost of supplies are appreciated from the makers who’d like to keep their canvas or cards. \nWe will provide plenty of art making materials\, including canvases and cards. No experience necessary\, we welcome all art enthusiasts! Questions? Contact the organizer\, Eileen O’Brien\, at artbyeileenm@gmail.com. \nGiven the pandemic restrictions\, registration is required. Register for each hour you’d like to attend. No more than 10 people are allowed in the gallery at any one time. Participants must wear a face mask and maintain 6′ of personal space. \nRegister Now \n\nView other upcoming workshops\, information about the facility\, and policies on the Upcoming Workshops page.
