Different artists from a variety of media categories will be selected for each weekend. Artists who apply by the deadline will be notified of acceptance by September 20. Del Ray Artisans members and non-members are eligible\, so apply now! Members receive priority and a discount. \nAll work sold at the Holiday Market must be handmade by the artist selling the work and originals need to have been made within the last 3 years. Reproductions are acceptable as long as the original was made by the artist within the last 3 years. \nWe are anticipating an in-person event this year; however\, changes in the pandemic landscape may alter these plans. The world has been designed by institutions\, and terms like people of color or minorities serve to divide us and create white vs. non-white or us vs. them paradigms. This exhibit is intended to examine the spaces between us and shared among us\, with a focus on our shared humanity and the things that bring us together. We seek art that breaks down barriers\, examines all facets of our diversity\, and celebrates our unity. \nThe Expanding the Common Ground: Voices of the Global Majority art exhibit is open to all area artists and high school students. Area high school students are invited to participate for free (no entry fee).
