The pervasive experiences of solitude\, isolation\, loneliness\, longing\, and reverie are a common thread in the paintings of Edward Hopper. Hopper’s iconic emblem of Post-Depression-era America and a world at war\, “Nighthawks\,” recalls not only the dire times of economic uncertainty but a world lost. Artists are invited to enter their own existential explorations and expressions in response to COVID-19. Make it personal—or make it Hopperesque! \nAfter Edward Hopper: Themes of Isolation and Solitude is a Del Ray Artisans members-only exhibit. Membership has its privileges! However\, if you are not a member\, you may join Del Ray Artisans now. \nThis exhibit will have an Art-to-Go Marketplace.
