DESCRIPTION:Register Now \nDel Ray Artisans invites young campers ages 8-12 years old to Art Camp to spend a week creating art with professional local artist instruction. Students will have an immersive creative journey\, including painting\, sculpting\, journaling\, and STEAM-tastic activities that celebrate science and art. During nice weather\, kids will have outdoor time to get fresh air\, unwind\, and replenish their creative energy. All artist supplies are provided. Students must bring their own lunches. Thank you to MCD Mateos McDonald’s for their donation of water and cookies for the campers. \nChoose Week One (July 13–17) or Week Two (July 20–24).\nCamp runs Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm.\nFor Ages: 8-12 (class size limited to 15 children per week)\nCost: $350 per child\nScholarship support is available; contact Gallery@DelRayArtisans.org for an application. \n \nSpecial thanks to Genesis Inspiration Foundation for their generous donation supporting Del Ray Artisans’ Youth Art Programs. \nArt Camp will be at the Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Colasanto Center\, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue\, Alexandria\, VA 22301. The gallery is accessible.
