DESCRIPTION:Lovely As A Tree Art Exhibit\nAugust 1–30\, 2025\nOpening Reception: Friday\, August 1 from 7–9pm\n“Backyard Beauty” by Robyn Seaton McGarry\nLovely As A Tree is an art exhibit exploring the ways in which trees impact our lives and this earth. Humans and animals benefit from the shade\, shelter\, food provided\, the beauty of and the environmental impact of trees. The talented members of Del Ray Artisans will bring aspects of this natural phenomenon to artistic life through painting\, photography\, ceramics\, items created from wood and other mediums that flow from their prolific imaginations. This art exhibit is a showcase for the creative members of Del Ray Artisans. \nJoin us for the opening reception on Friday\, August 1 between 7-9pm to meet curator Robyn Seaton McGarry and the artists. Mark your calendar now or set a reminder through Eventbrite. \nAlso check out Del Ray Artisans’ Creative Summer Programs this month. In this series of workshops exploring the arts\, you will learn techniques in collage\, drawing\, mixed media\, photography\, bead embroidery\, and more from local artists. Gallery hours are Thursday 12-6pm\, Friday 12-9pm\, Saturday 12-6pm\, and Sunday 12-6pm (closed on August 31\, 2025). \nThe gallery is free\, open to the public\, and accessible. DESCRIPTION:Call for Entry (Open to Members Only)\nDel Ray Artisans’ 2026 Wall Calendar\nDigital entries due Monday\, August 18\, 2025\nMembers: Submit your best work to the 13th annual Del Ray Artisans’ wall calendar! All entries are to be received digitally\, and no physical pieces of art will be collected. There is no entry fee\, no theme\, and work previously shown at Del Ray Artisans is acceptable. Your Del Ray Artisans membership must be up-to-date. \nThe Calendar Selection Committee will choose approximately 50-60 pieces of art from Del Ray Artisans members to be included in the 2026 Wall Calendar. This calendar is a fundraiser to benefit Del Ray Artisans\, but also a fun way to show your support for our arts organization and share your talent with the community. \nEntry Details & Form
