DESCRIPTION:$100 and Under Art Exhibit\nNovember 1 – December 1\, 2024\nOpening Reception: Friday\, November 1 from 7–9pm\nThis November Del Ray Artisans is bringing back our popular $100 and Under exhibit concept from 2015\, 2017\, 2019\, and 2022 showcasing members’ original artwork\, all priced at $100 and under. The art will be sold on an art-to-go basis\, with buyers taking art home when purchased during the exhibit from November 1 – December 1\, 2024. \nJoin us for the opening reception on Friday\, November 1 between 7-9pm to meet curators Dale Spivey and Kurt Peterson and the artists. Mark your calendar now or set a reminder through Eventbrite. \nAll workshops in November are priced at $100 or less\, and some programs are free! For information on programs\, visit DelRayArtisans.org/programs. \nThe $100 and Under exhibit runs November 1 – December 1\, 2024 at Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Colasanto Center\, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue\, Alexandria\, Virginia 22301. Gallery hours are Thursday 12-6pm\, Friday 12-9pm\, Saturday 12-6pm\, and Sunday 12-6pm. Closed on Thanksgiving Day. Hours differ starting December 2\, 2024. \nThe gallery is free\, open to the public\, and accessible. Join us for a transformative workshop\, inspired by the new book\, Creative Sparks: 21 Affirmations and Inspiration for Creativity at Midlife by instructor Sharon Burton\, where you’ll create personalized affirmation cards designed to inspire and motivate your creative spirit. You’ll learn how to craft affirmations that resonate with your artistic goals and aspirations. \nIn this workshop\, you’ll discover the power of positive affirmations in boosting your creativity and self-confidence. You’ll learn how to craft affirmations that resonate with your artistic goals and aspirations.
