DESCRIPTION:NOTE: The July 20th session has been cancelled due to the heat. \nGive some TLC to Del Ray Artisans’ gardens! Join the Gardens Committee to spruce up the landscaping around the gallery. \nBring gloves\, knee pads (if desired)\, and laughter. Even if you don’t know what a weed is\, we can teach you. Volunteer for 1 hour or the whole 2.5 hours. If you have any questions\, please email Kurt at Gardens@DelRayArtisans.org. \nMEMBERS: This task counts towards your annual membership volunteer hours (record your hours). \nNON-MEMBERS: You are welcome to come help and learn too. \nSave the dates: During the season (March-October)\, the committee will meet the third Saturday of every month from 9am-11am. In June and August\, we’ll meet an hour earlier (8am-10am) to avoid the heat. The July 20th session has been cancelled. Thank you for your volunteer time! \n\nNOTE: All plantings and transplantings must be approved by the Garden Committee. The Garden Committee approval is important to make sure the plants that get chosen are great for nature\, located properly for the right amount of sun or shade\, don’t conflict with other plants or facility needs\, and fit into the overall garden plan with maintenance in mind.

(Versión en español)\nSupport Del Ray Artisans and go home with new-to-you\, used treasures from our rummage sale on Saturday\, July 20 AND Sunday\, July 21 from 8am-1pm inside the gallery. \nAll proceeds benefit Del Ray Artisans nonprofit arts organization. \nDonated items for the sale (dropped off in advance) are welcomed and appreciated! Drop off times at the gallery for donations are: July 14 (5-8pm)\, July 15 (5-7pm)\, July 16 (1-5pm)\, July 18 (12-8pm)\, and July 19 (12-8pm). \nDonations may include household items\, clothing\, office supplies\, jewelry\, toys\, books\, sports equipment\, handheld tools\, small appliances\, and more. \nPlease do not drop off hazardous materials\, broken items\, or anything that requires two people to move (no large furniture or large electronics). \nIf you have questions about donations\, contact Margaret Slipek at fundraising@delrayartisans.org.  Thank you! \nVolunteer\nTo help during the drop off dates and/or sale\, please contact Morgan Parr at volunteers@delrayartisans.org. \nDRA members are reminded to report their volunteer hours monthly.
