This exhibit features any two related items in one piece of art\, such as two of a kind\, two complementary items\, duos\, twins\, parents and children\, and lovers. Through the exhibit you’ll recall some famous twos: “Double your pleasure\, double your fun” (Wrigley’s Doublemint Gum); “Two great tastes that taste great together” (Reese’s peanut butter cups); “Double Vision” (Foreigner); and the pairs on Noah’s Ark. \nJoin us for the opening reception on Friday\, March 1 between 7-9pm to meet curators Karen and TJ Feeley and the artists. Learn about the importance of values\, color theory\, and layering and how to use layers to create a composition that is cohesive and conveys depth and meaning. Whether abstract or representational\, each student will come away with a new understanding of how to construct a work of art that conveys the essence of their own personal connection to a particular city. \nThe supply fee includes all materials.
