Intro to Block Printing (Age 12 to Adult)

Celebrate the season with playful, hands-on printmaking inspired by the spirit of October. Participants will design and carve soft foam printing plates inspired by folklore creatures, harvest moons, and other eerie autumn imagery, then ink and hand-print their designs using brayers and water-based inks. Create multiple prints to take home and share.
Participants will explore introductory printmaking, focusing on pattern-making, symbolism, and visual storytelling. You will leave with original prints and a deeper understanding of the printmaking process.
No experience needed. This hands-on workshop is open to adults and children ages 7+ with an adult—families welcome! All materials are provided.
