Dive into the cultural, emotional, and imaginative realms of toys. Toys are often the first things we fall in love with – and sometimes the first things we break. We’re open to interpretations that highlight the joy of play, reflect on childhood nostalgia, or turn toys into surprising artistic expressions. We want all kinds of art that capture the playful, nostalgic spirit of toys. This could also include more conceptual ideas, like trees crafted from toy blocks, classic board games reimagined in a new light, or collages that showcase a cherished doll or character from your own toy collection.
The exhibit is open to all area artists. Del Ray Artisans members pay a discounted entry fee.
