Come listen to an expert show off his collection of swords and other weapons, then DRAW them! Since 2008, Jamaa’l M.DC Todd has been a student of ancient African history beyond the Sahara and has incorporated this interest in aspects of his life. His collection of swords and other weapons comes from various African cultures and regions.
Discover an unfamiliar side of Africa from his lecture while you sketch the artifacts. Bring your own sketching supplies or attend just to see and learn about the collection. Registration required.
Face masks must be worn by all while visiting the gallery.
