Come see the Visible Touch: A Look at Texture exhibit featuring works by local artists that explore texture through physical form or visual illusion. Join us for the opening reception on Friday, February 2 between 7-9pm at Del Ray Artisans gallery to meet curators Dawn Wyse Hurto and Lesley Hall and the artists. Mark your calendar or set a reminder: visible-touch.eventbrite.com.

Texture is one of the fundamental elements of art. In anticipation of how texture can prompt a desire to touch, visitors are allowed to touch some of the art. (Pieces that allow touching are marked.) Artists have also shared statements on how they created the various textures. Enjoy the visual and the tactile experience of this exhibit!

In the mood to create? Drop-in to the free, fun, “I Likey” Card Making Party on Saturday, February 3 between 4-8pm to make cards to benefit our nonprofit art organization. Donations appreciated for any cards you make that you are taking home. Come solo, with friends or your Valentine. The event is open to all ages and skill levels.
