Groovy Movies: Artwork Inspired by Motion Pictures
Exhibit Dates: November 5-27, 2021
Digital entry deadline: Sunday, October 10, 2021 by midnight
Seeking artwork that is inspired by the movies—from cult films to American Film Institute (AFI) classics; from actors, characters, locations to catch phrases. Dig this excellent, fantastical, funky, fabulous art scene in all mediums and genres from Amadeus to Zoolander. Curator Karen Schmitz has some splendid awards for artists and is arranging some hip happenings.
The Groovy Movies art exhibit is open to all area artists. Del Ray Artisans members pay a discounted entry fee. This exhibit will not have an associated Art-to-Go Marketplace.
