Register now for the 2019 Del Ray Artisans Youth Summer Art Camp! Youth ages 8-14 years old are invited to spend a week with professional art staff at Del Ray Artisans learning a variety of art skills while creating a multitude of artistic objects! Art Camp is a one-week experience where campers use all kinds of materials and draw inspiration from a myriad of seasoned professionals.
Register for week one (July 15-19, 2019) or week two (July 22-26, 2019). Camp is Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm daily, and costs $300 per child until June 1. After June 1 the fee is $325 per child. Scholarships may be available upon request. All art supplies and snacks are provided. There will also be a special, one-day only, gallery show on the Saturday following camp (July 20 for week one campers and July 27 for week two campers) to show off students’ work. The reception is from 1-3pm and is a great chance for campers, family, and friends to talk to the camp coordinators and other students about their experience.
Art Camp and the gallery show will be at Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Nicholas A. Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22301. The facility is accessible.
