The Partnerships art exhibit opens on January 31, 2016 and runs through May 15 at the Veterinary Clinics of America Alexandria Animal Hospital (VCA Alexandria) as part of Del Ray Artisans’ (DRA) Gallery Without Walls (GWW) program. Patrons may view the artwork at VCA Alexandria during regular business hours and at the discretion of hospital staff.
Patrons and visitors will see family-friendly, two-dimensional artwork illuminating the special bond that forms between humans and animals. Artwork in a variety of mediums and styles will be featured throughout the exhibit.
A public reception will not be held at this venue, but an open house sponsored by VCA Alexandria is being planned for April 2016. During the open house artists featured in the Partnerships exhibit will be available to discuss their artwork and provide demonstrations.
All artwork is available for purchase through Del Ray Artisans. Artists are donating 20% of the purchase price of sold pieces in an equal split between Del Ray Artisans and the VCA Alexandria Animal Hospital’s charity of choice, Veterans Moving Forward. Veteran’s Moving Forward helps veterans lead more productive lives through partnerships with trained assistance animals. Del Ray Artisans and Veterans Moving Forward are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
